There is no doubt that the referral is one of an important topics in the field of linguistics of text, because it is an important means of connectivity and textual cohesion, as well as its relationship to the pragmatic side as it is a phenomenon regarding to the use of language, then to unveil the relationship between the language and the fact, since the referential structure of the speech is connected with the speaker intention.

Therefore, this research seeks to reveal the argumentative function of the antibiosis mentioned in the referring structure to the prayers of Imam Hussein on the day of Arafat.
