The research aims to know the effect of the nested waves strategy in the achievement and retention of second-graders average student in mathematics, the research sample consisted of (66) students distributed equally to two groups, an experimental study of the nested waves strategy, and a control group studied in the usual way and equivalence in some of the variables, The researcher prepared a research test of multiple choice type consisting of (30) Paragraph, appropriate statistical methods were used, and the results showed: There was a statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the experimental and control groups in the post achievement achievement test and in favor of the experimental group.
