Abstract EN

This paper lingered on the phenomena of the intertextuality of heritage tributaries in Habib Al-Zeyoudi’s first Poetry collection “Al-Shaykh Yahlom BilMattar (The Elder Dreams of Rain)” and his last collection “Ghayem Ala Al–Alook (Clouds on Al-Alook)” and its influence on Al-Zeyoudi’s poetic construction and development.

Following the analytical descriptive approach، the paper tackled the topics of; the poet and culture, the concept of intertextuality، intertextuality of heritage tributaries in Habib Al-Zeyoudi’s first Poetry collection “Al-Shaykh Yahlom Bil Mattar.

(The Elder Dreams of Rain)” and the intertextuality of heritage tributaries in the Poetry collection of “Ghayem Ala Al–Alook (Clouds on Al- Alook)”.

The paper traced the religious، literary، and popular tributaries in the mentioned poetry collections.

The paper concluded that Al-Zeyoudi excelled in the use of intertextuality of heritage tributaries in his early poetic experience.

Furthermore، he was able to greatly develop it in his later works which were characterized by condensation, and the highest level of conversational and archetypal intertextuality.
