Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the degree to which the twenty-first century skills were included in the chemistry textbook developed for the tenth grade in order to achieve the vision of Jordan 2025, and the study followed the descriptive and analytical approach, and to achieve the goal of the study a content analysis tool was built, and after verifying its validity and reliability, a content analysis of the chemistry book Developed for the tenth grade for the academic year 2020-2021 AD by the Ministry of Education in Jordan.

The results of the study showed that the degree of inclusion of twenty-first century skills was generally moderate, as the field of learning and innovation skills (creativity) ranked first in terms of availability in content with a medium degree (49.68%), and the field of life and professional skills came second with a medium degree of 41.57%), while the field of technology, information and media skills ranked last at a low rate (8.75%).

In addition, the skills of the twenty-first century in general were available at a low level in the developed chemistry textbook for the tenth grade, as the total availability of these skills in the book was (9.96%).
