Abstract EN

The current study aimd to investigate the effect of differentiated instruction in the acquisition of scientific concepts in Science among the 7th Grade's in the city of Ramtha.

In order to provide answers to the study questions, a test on scientific concepts acquisition was developed.

The sample of the study consisted of (65) students who were selected by convenience sampling, during the second semester of the academic year 2018/2019.

The sample distributed into two groups; control group consisted of (31) students studied science textbook by the means of the conventional strategy; whereas, the experimental group consisted of (34) students studied science textbook by the means of differentiated instruction method.

The results of this study showed that there is a statistically significant difference in each dimension of the scientific concept between the performance of the experimental group students who studied the differentiated Instruction method compared to the performance of the control group students who studied in the traditional method, Also, the performance of the experimental group students who have been studied by the differentiated instruction method was better.
