Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the Jordanian university students’ level of awareness in media education in light of some variables.

A sample of (2361) male and female students studying in the Jordanian universities and were randomly selected from (Yarmouk University, Al al-Bayt University, Al-Hashimiya University).

The study society consisted of (53240) students.

The researcher used the descriptive method, he designed the study tool which included three fields: the cognitive field (10), the skillfulness field (10 items) The results of the study showed that there was awareness of Jordanian university students in media education was generally moderate, findings revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05> a) due to gender variable.

There was a statistically significant difference at the level of (a = 0.05) attributed to the college variable in favor of scientific colleges and fourth year students.
