Abstract EN
This study aimed to identify the impact of career path on entrepreneurship in Jordanian pharmaceutical companies.
The study dealt with the independent variable, which is the career path of its kind: traditional path, network path, and path achievement path.
The study population is made up of (6306) employees in pharmaceutical companies and of different levels, and the random sample was used proportional class, where the random samples were distributed (351) questionnaires, while the questionnaires valid for statistical analysis were (316) questionnaires.
The study concluded several results, the most important of which was that the levels of relative importance of the types of career path (traditional path, network path, and achievement path) were all intermediate.
As for the relative importance of the dimensions of entrepreneurship, it ranged between high and medium The results of the study also indicated a statistically significant impact on career path on terms of its types of entrepreneurship in Jordanian pharmaceutical companies, and also the presence of a career path effect on all dimensions of entrepreneurship.
Through the study results, researchers made a set of recommendations to decision makers in Jordanian pharmaceutical companies, including the need for the departments of the Jordanian pharmaceutical industry companies to develop a clear and specific policy for the system of promotions that the employee will receive during his career to become his path.
