, is considered one of the most prominent Algerian encyclopedic scholars in this modern era.

Because one of his main interests was in linguistic lesson, he then worked on that both in teaching and in writing.

One of his seminal works was «Explaining the Explanation of Metaphors» in which he explained, quite brilliantly, "The Explanation"; a valuable book by Essam al-Din al-Asfraini on « The Samarkandian Message in Metaphors».

Through it, he was able to harness a set of knowledge fields to serve the rhetorical lesson in general and the author's methodological skills in setting it into practice.

Therefore, this article aims at introducing the manuscript and its author, explaining the different epidemiological areas tackled in it, and highlighting the way the leading author used these.
