Abstract EN

Religion is an important dimension in the life of societies and individuals.

It makes all the emerged or associated issues with it a subject of permanent and renewed research since the reality of any society cannot be understood unless its is examined in the framework of this dimension and the reality of the belonging elites.

Accordingly, this article seeks to trace the social and political mobility of religious actors within the Algerian society in general, and to discuss how these elites were formed and produced and the nature of their relationship to political authoriy.
