In his logistic epistemological project, Gottlob Frege sought to evaluate and develop arithmetic by restoring it to symbolic logic as he envisioned it.

Within this vision Frege presents us with a new concept in which he moved from a cognitive question to an ontological issue; It ended with the adoption of a Platonic world of objective and mathematical and logical ideas, and this comes the legitimacy of the question: Does the epistemological necessity justify the recognition of the reality of entities necessary to assume that they belong to an independent world? Or is this evidence of the failure of the mind to understand the facts beyond the scope of its limits?
