Abstract EN

This research deals with one of the most important topics in the field of human rights and freedoms, it is the right to equality in terms of nationality, as the right to equality of the most important rights that should be enjoyed by humans, it has multiple fields, in which the right to citizenship is considered.

The issue of nationality got the attention of international and national laws, has been enshrined in the international conventions, also the domestic legislations of States, enacted laws to regulate the right to citizenship, and the legal provisions related to it, the right of the state to organize it, and what can surround and restrict it.

The researcher do that through three axes, the first dealing with the legal system of the right to citizenship in the international conventions, the second for the definition of citizenship, and the right in national legislations in general, and the latter deals with the legal regulation of the right to citizenship in the Jordanian law, and the concept of conflict of nationalities.
