Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the difficulties of learning to read and write from the point of view of primary school teachers.

The sample of the study consisted of (50) male and female teachers from the Holy Karbala Governorate Center who are studying the primary stage for the academic year (2018-2019), and the sample was chosen randomly.

For the purposes of the study, the researchers used the descriptive) 516approach to suit its suitability to the objectives of this study, and a questionnaire was prepared from (26) paragraphs, and the study concluded that the paragraph (the student stuttering while reading long sentences) came first with a weighted average (2, 41), and the paragraph (the student cannot remember Names and shapes of letters) ranked last and with a weighted middle (1, 28).
