This research provides an important reference to deal with the concept of the Electronic Mirage.

The Electronic Mirage is one of methods by which a person can involve in a marriage contract through using social media and it creates rights and duties between spouses.

The issue of the electronic mirage has become the subject of an academic discussion among legal jurists.

The present research examines this sort of marriage contract that can take place between the husband and wife from different legal aspects such as mutual consent and approval.

In addition the research highlights legal conditions to the electronic marriage contract and how can it be concluded and registered and what are its conditions and implications.

The main finding of the research is that there is no specific law that has governed the provisions of this sort of marriage contract.

However, legal rules under the provisions of the Personal Status Law have clarified and regulated the elements of the electronic marriage contract in general principles and shown its effect in terms of proportions, alimony, and inheritance.
