Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the degree of awareness of secondary school students in Jeddah about the skills of knowledge economy, and the study used the descriptive approach.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was used on the skills of knowledge economy, and it consisted of five skills: teamwork, problem solving, creative thinking, critical thinking and using technology، The sample consisted of (393) female students from the city of Jeddah, and the results revealed that the level of awareness of secondary school students in Jeddah for all knowledge economy skills came (high), where the teamwork skill came first, followed by the skill of creative thinking, and the skill of critical thinking ranked first.

The third, the problem-solving skill ranked fourth, and the skill of using technology ranked fifth and last.

The study recommended the necessity of holding training courses that would enable students to acquire and develop knowledge economy skills.
