Abstract EN

Resources plays an important role in the expansion of small population groups into emerging urban centers, and the nature of resources contributes to direct the process of functional transformation of these centers towards cities with an agricultural function, or cities with industrial and commercial function.

Due to prominence of emerging centers significantly in recent years, we have decided to approach the problems associated with the start and development of emerging centers in Morocco, by studying the case of two centers belonging to the same region, but not possessing the same economic and natural qualifications.

This study was based on the descriptive-analytical approach and comparative approach, and reached the importance of the role that the site plays in the transformatuion of the MoulayAbdallah Center into an industrial city, and the AwladFaraj Center retaining its agricultural function.
