دراسة المسائل المرتبطة بالحماية القانونية للبيئة في الفضاء الخارجي، تحظى بأهمية بالغة، من حيث تسليط الضوء على المخاطر التي يمكن أن تهدد هذا الفضاء الجديد من حيث طبيعته الجغرافية، أو نظامه القانوني.
مصدر التهديد الأول للبيئة في الفضاء الخارجي، هو الأجسام الفضائية الموجودة في مدارت مختلفة، حيث يؤدي إنفجار أو إصطدام هذه الأجسام إلى وجود الحطام الفضائي، الذي يشكل خطرا على البيئة، بالنظر للعدد الهائل للحطام.
هذا الوضع، يستدعي البحث في النصوص القانونية، قصد إيجاد السبل الفعالة التي تكفل حماية حقيقية للبيئة في الفضاء الخارجي، بهدف التقليل إلى أقصى حد ممكن من خطر الحطام الفضائي.
Abstract EN
The study of questions related to the legal protection of the environment in outer space is of great importance, because it allows highlighting the risks that could threaten this new space due to its geographical nature or its legal regime.
The source of the threat to the environment in outer space is the space objects that are in the orbits, where the explosion or collision of these objects leads to the presence of space debris, which poses a threat to the environment, given the enormous amount of debris.
This situation requires a search for legal texts, in order to find effective means that ensure real protection of the environment in outer space, in order to minimize the danger of space debris.

L'étude des questions liées à la protection juridique de l'environnement dans l'espace extra-atmosphérique, est d'une grande importance, car elle permet de mettre l’accent les risques qui pourraient menacer ce nouvel espace en raison de sa nature géographique ou de son régime juridique.
La source de la menace pour l'environnement dans l'espace extra-atmosphérique, c’est les objets spatiaux qui se trouvent sur les orbites, où l'explosion ou la collision de ces objets conduit à la présence de débris spatiaux, ce qui constitue une menace pour l'environnement, compte tenu du nombre énorme de débris.
Cette situation nécessite une recherche de textes juridiques, dans le but de trouver des moyens efficaces qui assurent une vraie protection de l'environnement dans l'espace extra-atmosphérique, dans le but de minimiser le danger des débris spatiaux.
