The issue of judicial protection for the insurance consumer occupies an important place among the topics of legal protection for the consumer, which the algerian legislature has surrounded with a special legal system, as it has made in the hands of the judge a set of powers that enable, as it has enabled the judge a set of powers that enable him to intervene to change the course of the contract, with which he preserves the rights of the consumer, and in this research paper, we will shed light on these authorities and their effectiveness in providing the necessary and adequate protection to the insurance consumer, by stating the judge's authority to annul the arbitrary conditions contained in the insurance contract, and also the judge's authority to interpret the insurance contract, finally the judge's authority to prove the insurance contract.
