The study aims to identify the areas of health education in Algerian children's press by revealing the quality of health contents published on a sample of its pages.

To this end, the sample survey method was relied upon, using the content analysis form tool to analyze a sample of six issues of “Finko” magazine were presented.

The study concluded several results, the most important of which are: the areas of health education in the magazine “Finko” varied.

Environmental health topics accounted for the highest percentage (43.

75%), followed by health nutrition topics, while no contents were recorded on infectious diseases and ways to prevent them.

The studied magazine also relied on diversification of directorial methods in presenting health topics in order to attract children to read them.
