Abstract EN

It is well known that King Abdul Aziz - may God have mercy on him - is concerned with the educational aspect since the beginning of his march to unify the country.

In the year 1344 AH / 1935 AD, the Public Knowledge Directorate was established to take care of education affairs and move it forward.And he realized with insight into his view - may God have mercy on him - the country's need for specialists in sciences whose education is not available inside the country at that time, hence the need to send a number of students and staff abroad to fill that deficiency.

Therefore, this research will include four chapters where the preface dealt with the general conditions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a focus on the scientific aspect, and the first chapter carried the title of the government military scholarship, while the second chapter was devoted to studying the government scholarship in various sectors.

And the third chapter referred to the scholarship in the educational field, as the fourth chapter explored to highlight the scholarship numbers and the reactions in the Saudi society regarding the scholarship.

The research will conclude with a conclusion, findings, recommendations, annexes and indexes.
