The study aims to clarify the role of the Noble Qur’an in spreading environmental awareness of environmental concepts from the Muslim’s point of view.

Using the basic criteria ((Muslim identity, adoption of Quranic teachings, environmental awareness, the relationship of the Quran to environmental awareness, awareness of the environment of the place)).

And the researcher relied on the Likert quintuple scale, which contains five items ((fully applied and fully insured, fully implemented and partially insured, partly applied and fully insured, partly applied and partly insured, not implemented and not insured)).

Numerous statistical tools for analyzing results The idea of the research came from the important role of our religion, which fights corruption, which affected land and sea.

And it is a religion that calls for reconstruction, construction, and preservation of the environment from the principle of “no harm, no harm” and no extravagance, since “the wasteful are the brothers of the devils.” From this point of view, the research was divided into two sections, the first concerned with the theoretical framework represented by the concept of environmental awareness and environmental pollution and its types, as well as the Holy Qur’an and environmental concepts that were mentioned in the Qur’anic verses.

Quranic verses in the amount of spreading environmental awareness through the distribution of a random electronic questionnaire to the residents of the city of Najaf.
