Abstract EN

This study deals with the information services provided by the Library of the Faculty of Information at Omdurman Islamic University by identifying the extent of the reality of their use of it, the motives and the extent to which they meet the needs of the beneficiaries.

This study relied on the descriptive approach and the case study.

The questionnaire method was used as the main tool for the study and data collection, so distribution (130) a copy of the questionnaire on the study sample from students.

One of the most important results of the study is that 58.5% do not use the library, and 100% that the library balance does not meet their needs.

The study revealed that the percentage of services in the library is weak at 51%, and then the study recommended the need to go to libraries Electronic to keep pace with the development in information and communication technologies and to be able to maintain its pioneers and meet their needs of modern and specialized information.
