Abstract EN

The study aims to achieve some goals, including identifying topics related to the emerging Corona pandemic, Covid 19, which are raised and focused on in the electronic news sites of the satellite channels understudy, and identifying the editorial policy and news values that were addressed by the websites of the news channels on the Internet understudy towards framing the news of the emerging Corona pandemic.

As well as identifying the news frameworks and their functions in the media handling of the websites of the news channels understudy and identifying the parties of the active forces as addressed by the websites of the news channels under study, the most important findings of the study.

And if at the forefront came to the escalation of fears of the lack of control of the disease by 30.2% , then the issue of the suffering of citizens in their daily lives by 21.6% , and the results of the statistical analysis revealed that the reliance on the news came first, followed by news reports, and the least dependent on the news arts was the infographic.

The focus on transparency came to the fore of the total editorial policy on Corona topics, followed by the policy of accuracy and then the policy of comprehensiveness, and the least type of editorial policy relied upon was impartiality at 7.2% .
