Abstract EN

We tried in the research entitled “The Role of the Religious Authority in the Rationalization of the Political Process in Iraq after 2003” to highlight the position of the Religious Authority with regard to the political situation in Iraq after the fall of the dictatorial regime.

In this wake, research is divided into four chapters.

Regarding the first chapter, we mentioned the basic elements of the political process in Iraq, starting with the occupation government, passing through the transitional government and ending with the permanent government under the shadow of the constitution.

Next, we clarified the role of the Religious Authority with regard to governments.

And the second chapter explains how the law administration of the State was drafted during the transition period, and the role of the Religious Authority with regard to these two subjects.

And the third chapter deals with the position of the Religious Authority with regard to the political and social situation after 2003.

At the end, the fourth chapter takes care of clarifying the paradigms of statesman in the Religious Authority, and what are the criteria required for the statesman and politician.
