Al-Zawraa newspaper, issued by the Ottoman administration in Baghdad since 1869, is one of the most important newspapers that dated to the modern history of Iraq during the late Ottoman era, Although it was an official point of view, it dealt with the details of the different cities and regions and witnessed different variables, The city of Najaf was one of the most important cities that received considerable attention in the newspaper through the events and developments in the administrative aspects related to the application of laws and government procedures, and political aspects of the nature of the relationship between the Ottoman authority and the local community, and economic aspects in the statement of types of taxes and fees And to carry out some economic activities, and social aspects about the population and issues of society, which continued until 1915, when the actual Ottoman control over it after the uprising of the population of Najaf against the Ottomans.
