The study aims to identify the characteristics of the comments speech of users of the Egyptian Ministry of Education pages through social media sites regarding the distance education system and analyze these features in light of the public domain theory, which is one of the descriptive and analytical studies that relied on the media survey method using an intentional sample of users' comments on the publications of the system Distance education through the Ministry of Education page from October 17, 2020 to November 17, 2020, which amounted to 4, 083 comments, based on the content analysis and discourse analysis tool, and concluded that the comment speech belongs to the micro-public sphere, despite what the quantitative results indicate about the excellence of the discussion arena across the page in access and interaction Accessibility, However the qualitative analysis outlines that these discussions did not lead to the development of a critical discourse based on arguments and evidence.
