This article deals with important aspects of the scientific movement that was known to the Zawayas in the southwestern of Algeria in the modern era.

Since its inception, it has played a vital role in the fields of education, science and discipline.

These Zawayas are often similar in the teaching methods, curriculum, and science taught.

Their elder and students also had intellectual and scientific contributions in various sciences and arts.
