Abstract EN

This study paid utmost attention to uncovering the role of Mujawreen (residents) of Makkah during the Mamluk era.

The study concluded that the Mujawreen, who came from separate places and from different races, did not find great difficulty in integrating into the fabric of the society, especially since a large group of those Mujawreen broke their ties with their homelands and spent the rest of their lives in shadows of the sacred house of Allah.

The study concluded that the Mujawreen were active, and had their blessed contributions and their tireless efforts in various aspects of public life, including religious, scientific, economic and social.
