Abstract EN

The Meccan society and the aspects of its civilization in the Umayyad period (40 - 132 AH / 660 - 750 AD).

The research deals with the following elements .

Firstly : the elements of the Meccan society and its components from the Quraysh, the Allies, the Mawali and the slave.

Secondly : the aspects of social life: and it touched on the Meccan family: from the engagement, the dowry, the marriage contract, preparing the bride for the celebration (wedding), polygamy, as well as the research in the field of procreation, child rearing , death and its customs.

Besides identifying the funeral , wailing , and burial methods.

With regard to housing and its supplies , we will learn about the nature of housing , its supplies and equipment, and identify food and beverages.

The research will provide an image of entertainment and ornamental means.
