Abstract EN

The diversity of the human composition of the Hammadi society in the Central Maghreb regardless of gender and race, including Berbers, Arabs, Andalusians, Christians, and Jews, resulted in cross-fertilization of ideas and coexistence among them as evidence of religious tolerance and openness to others.

The solidarity of members of the Al-Hammadi community who managed to immortalize its legacy remained in the history record, in addition to the physical evidence that carries with it the extent of development, prosperity and sophistication that the Al-Hammadi society reached in the medieval era, and the aim of this research is a study of the social structure of the state Hamdiyyah and the recognition of the human elements that formed the Hammadi society that differs in customs, traditions and even religion, following the descriptive and analytical historical approach at times, by describing and listing historical events and the social life of the state of Bani Hammad, and through this research we reached several results, including that the city of Bejaia in the era Al Hammadi has become a center of civilization, cultural and intellectual diversity, similar to the various cities of the Islamic Maghreb.
