This study aimed to identify the psychological stresses and their relationship to motivation of achievement among students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Sudan for Science and Technology.
To achieve this objetive, the researchers used the descriptive approach.
The sample size was (263) male and female students.
The sample was chosen in the stratified random method and the psychological stresse scale was applied to the sample by Abu Al-Sari Reda Abdullah (1993) adjusted by the researchers and the motivation scale for achievement prepared by Khalifa Muhammad Abdullatif (2000 ) adjusted by the researchers.
The data were analyzed by the Statistical Packages Program for Social Sciences (SPSS) using the Pearson correlation coefficient and analysis of variance and the (T) test , the study has reachrd the following results: The psychological stresses among students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Sudan for Science and Technology are low and the motivation of achievement among students of the College of Education at the University of Sudan for Science and Technology is high and there is a negative correlation with statistically significant between Psychological stresses and achievement motivation among students of the College of Education at the University of Sudan for Science and Technology and there are statistically significant differences in achievement motivation due to the gender variable (male, female) in favor of gender (female) and, there are statistically significant differences in psychological stress due to the gender variable (male, female) in favor of the type (female) , and based on these results, the researchers presented a number of recommendations and proposals, the most important of which are: establishing mentorship and treatment programs for students and providing them with strategies to face stress and how to deal with them and aware them to the negative effects that result from them.
