ترتسم الظاهرة الجمالية ضمن مدارس و نظريات عدة و النظرية التعبيرية في الحقيقة هي مدرسة مثالية معادية للإنسانية و لروح التقدم؛ تأسست كنظرية مع فلاسفة يؤمنون بالتفكير الهيجيلي المثالي على رأسهم الفيلسوف الايطالي بنديتو كروتشه الذي جسد مفهوم الجمال من خلال الفلسفة الروحية الهيجلية بإعتبارها تجديدا لفلسفة هيجل كنشاط نظري في المعرفة المنطقية أداتها العقل وغايتها الحق و نشاط عملي يتمثل في الاقتصاد و الأخلاق وغايته الخير، فالجمال يقوم على الحدس التعبيري و يميز بذلك بين الفن والواقعة المادية و الجانب المنطقي العلمي و اللذة فاستبعد كل الجانب المادي و ركز على الجانب الفكري تمثيلا للفلسفة المثالية (بذلك الفنان يكافح و يتمرد من أجل تحرير فنه من أثر المادة.

فيرى بذلك أن الفن و الحقيقة شيء واحد على خطى هيجل، حيث ارتبطت الظاهرة الجمالية عند كروتشه بالنظرية التعبيرية فيعرف الجمال على أنه علم اللغويات و الجمال تكوين عقلي أي تجسيد باطني (علم الحدس الحسي)
Abstract EN
The theory of expressionism is an ideal school hostile to humanity and the spirit of progress.
It was established as a theory with philosophers who believe in the ideal Hegelian thinking on top of them the Italian philosopher Benedetto Croce who embodied the concept of beauty through Hegelic spiritual philosophy as a renewal of Hegel's philosophy as a theoretical activity in logical knowledge performed by reason, beauty is based on expressive intuition and is distinguished by that Between art and material reality, art and truth are considered one thing in the footsteps of Hegel.
The aesthetic phenomenon was characterized by his cruise in expressive theory, so beauty is defined as linguistics and beauty is a mental formation.
