He is a writer and actor.
He is a two - time Pulitzer Prize Finalist (Indians and Wings) and a three- time Tony Award nominee: Best play Indians (1970), Best play Wings (1979), and Best book of a musical for Nine (1982).
This research discusses the work Indians (1969).
The play reflects the social and political realities in 1968.
The United States had just experienced explosive racial tension in the wake of Civil Rights movement and the Vietnam War was one of its bloodiest periods.
