Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of the quality of the administrative performance of academic leaders and mechanisms of its development at King Khalid University in the light of the quality standards of Higher Education from the viewpoint of the teaching staff (males and females) depending on the variables of (gender, nationality, academic degree, experience).

The respondents of study comprised (100) teaching staff members.

A survey consisting of two topics was designed to measure the level of the administrative performance of academic leaders at the University and significant mechanisms of its development .The descriptive analytical methodology was utilized to reach the results.

The results showed that all determinants of the reality and level of the administrative performance were realized in a high degree with an arithmetic mean of (3.68).

Also, all determinants of development mechanisms were realized in a high degree.

The results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in respondents responses as the topic of level of the administrative performance of academic leaders and the topic of the most important Mechanisms for developing the quality of administrative performance for academic leaders that were attributable to the variables of (academic degree, experience, gender, nationality) at significance of (0.05).
