This research aims at studying the approach of surah Al Imran in.

It attempts to answer the question: What approach does surah Al Imran follow to strengthen the hearts near the event of death? Objectives: to investigate the term ‘death’ and its mention and connotations in the Holy Qur’an Introducing Surah Ali’Imran; explain how the surah approach prepares hearts to receive death and be prepared for it (Chapter One); and illuminate how t he surah helps treat hearts near death (Chapter Two).

The researcher has used inductive and analytical approaches.

Results: The said surah follows various approaches that deal with death.

It prepares and strengthens hearts before death, mostly by reminding us of the deaths of prophets and past nations, which deters the deniers and empowers the believers.
