Abstract EN

This study aims to shed a light on the marriage habits in Gaza Strip in order to identify the aspects of the constant and the change in marriage and the impact of globalization on marriage in addition to the impact of the Palestinian culture society on marriage habits in Gaza Strip and the role which played by the customs and traditions of marriage in Gaza Strip .

The study used anthropological and comparative approaches to suit the nature of this study .

The first chapter represents a description of marriage customs in the Palestinian society in the past.

The second chapter discusses the changing habits and traditions of the customs and rituals of marriage.

The third topic revolves around the role which played by customs and traditions in the life of Palestinian people and finally the fourth topic discussed the impact of globalization on marriage in Gaza Strip The study concluded by presenting a set of results and recommendations .

The most important of these recommendations are : 1.Spread the culture of Islamic marriage, which is the same rituals and customs that the Palestinian society has maintained for a long time 2.Change is not to blame, provided that it is consistent with the values and customs of society.

This is an invitation from the researcher to keep pace with modernity 3.Every young man who gets married should have a knowledge balance stemming from the Islamic religion and Arab customs through special programs 4.Intensification of Arab and Islamic efforts to combat globalization in terms of knowledge and religion 5.Preparation of an honor document directed to the folklore teams, supervised by the Ministry of Culture, which includes adherence to the Palestinian Arab folklore heritage, without any additions, distortion of its image, or Counterfeiting its content
