Abstract EN

Visual metaphor is one of the concepts that started from language and cognitive fields to relate a logical connection with theatrical performances.

It establishes a new form that can be understood and comprehended due to the great ability of the visual metaphor for the success of the theatrical performance as well as Its method of organizing the message according to a sign system to the recipient.

This study concerns the succession of impact in developing new formulas that can be formed in the theatrical performance.

The research is a contemporary study of the concept of visual metaphor and how it is formed in the theatrical presentation through an attempt to extrapolate the ideas of theater directors.

It is an attempt to establish the importance of visual metaphor for them with an explanation and how to work in a semiotic, intellectual, aesthetic and semantic nature that effects content.
