Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the social problems of teenage students from their point of view in the Southern Badia Directorate of Education.

The sample of the study consisted of (112) male and female students and a tool was prepared for this purpose.

The study consisted of three areas related to the relationship with the family, the school mates and the community.

Arithmetical averages and standard deviations as well as test of independent samples were extracted.

The results showed that the relationship with the school mates is the most affected by social problems (21%), followed by the relationship with the family (20%), the relationship with the community (18%); To investigate the existence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) in different social problems according to sex variables and the school stage, the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the fields of relationship with the family and the relationship with the society, while there were statistically significant differences in the field of relationship with mates and school which attributed to both variables and to the secondary cycle.

The researcher recommended for the need to hold workshops for parents, and to include in the development plans of the Directorate guidance programs directed for the teachers, parents, and students themselves on this stage.
