Abstract EN

The objective of study was to measure of the stability of Money demand in Sudan, the study has been based on the following hypotheses: The most important factors impacting Money demand: GDP, exchange rate, inflation, Money velocity and Financial innovation.

There was a long-term equilibrium relationship between Money demand and its factors.

The Data was collected from the Bank of Sudan and Bureau of Central Statistics, for the period (19 0- 2017).

Using Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model to estimate model in the short and long run.

The findings were as follows that there was a statistically significant relationship between the Money demand and its factors in long- and short-run.

Except for the inflation and Financial innovation in long run, Finally, the money demand function is stable in the long term, and the error correction indicates that the disequilibria from previous period shock are corrected in the current period.

The study recommended: Develop an optimal mix of economic policy indicators to increase the effectiveness of the impact of the innovation index.
