The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the strategy of guided imagination on improving essay writing skills among the student oh the tenth grade in Jordan.
The researchers developed an essay test to measure essay writing skills.
The study was administrated on 36 female students in a school in IRBID-Jordan selected purposefully distributed into two groups.
An experimental group and a control group each group consisted of 18 students.
The findings of the study showed that there are significant statistical differences at the level of (a= 0.05) between the means of participants performance on each essay writing skills and as a whole attributed to the teaching method in a favor of guided imagination
