Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree of effectiveness of the quality unit of education and accountability in the Ministry of Education from the point of view of school principals in the North Region.

The sample of the study consisted of (46) school principals randomly chosen.

In order to achieve the objective of the study, the questionnaire was used to collect data.

The questionnaires were composed of (60) positive paragraphs, which were divided into four areas: learning and teaching, the student environment, society and school, leadership and administration.

The results of the study showed the following : - The degree of effectiveness of the quality unit of education and accountability in the Ministry of Education from the point of view of school principals came to a medium degree .

- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in all areas of the effectiveness of the quality unit of education and accountability in the Ministry of Education according to the gender variable, and for the benefit of females in all fields of study .

- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the response averages on the areas of the questionnaire and the total score attributed to the variable of scientific qualification in favor of those with higher educational qualifications.

- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the response averages on the areas of the questionnaire and the total score of the questionnaire due to the variable of experience and experience for more than 10 years.
