Abstract EN

The present study aims to identify the degree of participative leadership practice, achievement motivation level, as well as their correlation among the leaders of public education schools in Sharourah governorate.

To achieve this aim, the researchers used the analytical method.

The researchers used two questionnaires to evaluate the participative leadership and achievement motivation level on a randomly selected sample of (162) teachers; (78) males and (84) females.

Results revealed that the degree of participative leadership practice among the leaders of public education schools in Sharourah governorate was high.

There were no statistically significant differences in the degree of participative leadership practice among the leaders of public education schools in Sharourah governorate due to gender, academic qualification, and teaching experience.

The achievement motivation level of public education school teachers in Sharourah governorate was high.

There were no statistically significant differences in the degree of achievement motivation level among the principals of public education schools in Sharourah governorate due to gender, academic qualification, and teaching experience.

There was a statistically significant correlation between the participative leadership practice among the school leaders of public education schools and achievement motivation level for teachers in Sharourah governorate.

The study recommended that the leaders of public education schools in Sharourah governorate adopt the leadership of participatory leadership, because it has a positive role in achieving the goals of the school and motivating teachers
