Abstract EN

This research deals with a global problem, represented in the spread of crime in general and theft in particular.

Since Islam is the religion that God has entrusted to all people in all times and places, there is no doubt that its moral and legislative system has provided prevention, treatment and deterrent to those who think to do such a crime to maintain the peace and stability in the society.

This research explores the Qur'anic approach to limit the crime of theft in terms of the Qur'anic perspective towards money, security and crime in limiting it, as well as the Holy Qur'an 's approach in preventing the crime of theft, and the role of accountability of the thief and the application of the penalty of theft identified by the Qur'an in limiting this crime, then the role of repentance in reducing the occurrence of it.

The research concluded that the treatment of Qur'an to one of the phenomena of crime in society is built on the foundations of a structured methodology that assesses the dimensions of reality and gives the appropriate judgment of the status of society and the situation of individuals, which highlighted the realism of the Qur'anic discourse to the nation in designing its policies for a stable and secure society in which the crime shrinks to its lowest levels.
