Abstract EN

This paper studies some Isnāds (chains of narrators) that early ḥadīth critics ruled them as daʿīf (weak), even thought they are apparently ṣaḥīḥ (sound) and consists of only trustworthy narrators, each of these narrators is a contemporary of his precedent in the Isnād.

The paper also examines how modern ḥadīth scholars has dealt with such Isnāds, whether they accepted them as ṣaḥīḥ or followed the early critics in rejecting them.

The paper explains the effect of this in proving the agreement between the two schools of muḥadīthen: the early critics and contemporary (late) scholars.
