Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the impact of the systematic approach in the acquisition of creative thinking skills among first grade secondary students in geography.

The semi-experimental approach was used.

The sample of the study consisted of (57) students randomly selected from the first secondary grade students, from Wadi Al Seer secondary school for girls which is one of the Ministry of Education public schools in Jordan .They were divided into two groups: an experimental group consisting of (28) students who studied the unit designed according to the systematic approach, and a control group who studied the unite in the normal way.

In order to achieve the desired objectives of the study, the appropriate tools were prepared: the redesign of a system-oriented learning unit, the preparation of a system-appropriate teacher guide, a creative thinking test that included skills; (intellectual fluency, flexibility, and Originality).

To answer the study questions, the arithmetical averages, standard deviations and associated variance analysis (ANCOVA) were used to examine the statistical significant of differences.

Statistical analysis showed the following results: The experimental group outweighs the control group in the telemetry of the combined sub-skills of creative thinking combined, and of creative thinking as a whole.

In light of these findings, the study recommended: - Design educational content in the light of methods that fit the educational material.

- The need to encounter learners with creative thinking skills through different and modern teaching strategies.

- Conduct further studies on the direction of the systematic approach and its impact on education.
