The study aimed evaluate Islamic competency in the pre-school stage, Islamic competency is defined as Islamic knowledge and Islamic behavior.

The primary model of the scale consisted of 71 Items.

Depending on exploratory factor analysis, the final model of the scale consisted of 49 items distributed to three dimensions, Islamic knowledge, social Islamic behavior and the attitude to pray and fast.

The discrimination validity and the internal consistency were examined.

Using Alpha Kronbach method, The consistency coefficient of the three dimensions was: 0.94, 0.89 and 0.77 respectively.

The results showed that the level of Islamic knowledge of the pre-school children was low, while the level of social Islamic behaviour and the attitude to pray and fast were well.

Three was no effect of the school type (government, private , international) on Islamic knowledge, social Islamic behaviour and the total score of the scale, while there was an effect of the of school type on the the attitude to pray and fast.The results showed that there are significant differences between boys and girls in different dimensions of Islamic competency.

The study recommended the design of various measuring instruments in the kindergarten stage and the successful stages, and to intrest of developing the Islamic efficiency of pre - school children
