Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the proposed educational vision to enhance the role of high school in achieving the cultural development of students in the schools of the directorates of education schools capital Amman from the perspective of their principals.

The study used the descriptive analytical method.

The sample of the study was (260) principals.

The results of the study showed that the role of the high schools to achieve cultural development of students in the schools of the directorates of education schools capital Amman were in a high level.

Furthermore, there were statistically significant differences in at level (α≤0.005) between the means of responses of male and female group of the role of the high schools to achieve cultural development of students in the schools of the directorates of education schools capital Amman due to the gender variable, while there were no statistically significant differences due to the variable of scientific qualification and years of service.

The study recommended that the schools must conduct cultural competition between students in order to promote their knowledge and cultural awareness
