This study aimed at identifying the educational dimensions of voluntary work and the obstacles that hinder their achievement from the perspective of displaced tribes’ students at the University of Hafr Al Batin.

It also focused on the differences of the sample group’s responses regarding the educational dimensions of volunteer work and the hindrances challenging their realization, based on two variables which are the gender and specialization.

The study adopted the descriptive method, depending on a two-part questionnaire.

The first part included (43) statements representing the educational dimensions of the volunteer work while the second part comprised (38) statements focusing on the obstacles that might encumber the realization of these educational dimensions.

The targeted sample of the study covered 354 male and female among the displaced tribes' students.

The results reached by the study revealed that: • The educational dimensions of the voluntary work (ideological, Psychological, and sociological) have shown a high level of sample responses whereas the economic dimension revealed a medium level.

• There are no statistically significant differences in the sample group’s responses, regarding educational dimensions of volunteer work, in terms of gender (male/ female) and specialization (literary/ scientific disciplines).

• The obstacles (social, institutional, familial) preventing the achievement of the educational dimensions of voluntary work have shown a medium level.

• There are statistically significant differences in the sample group’s responses concerning the obstacles impeding the realization of the educational dimensions of voluntary work in terms of gender where female students’ responses are superior to males', and in terms of specialization as the scientific discipline is superior to the literary one
