Abstract EN

The objective of the research is to determine the level of empowerment and organizational excellence and the relationship between them from the perspective of academic leaders at Umm Al Qura University.

It also sought to identify the differences between the averages according to the variables of years of experience, academic degree and the position.

The study sample considered of (86) leaders.

The study was based on a questionnaire to collect data.

The study results show that, the level of empowerment in the University was moderate.

Also, the level of organizational excellence at the University has also been moderate.

There are also differences between the averages of empowerment in Umm Al Qura University from the point of view of their academic leaders refer to their experience, academic degree and position.

The study recommended that the University should adopt empowerment by applying their principles to enhance its quality, using the study results to activate organizational excellence
