The present study aimed at identifying the professional needs of the new English teachers in Jordan from their point of view in the light of some variables.

To achieve this, the study used the descriptive approach in constructing the study tool.

The purpose of this study was to define the professional needs of the new English teachers in Jordan from their point of view.

The study population consists of all teachers and teachers of English language teachers who were appointed in the schools of the Jordanian Ministry of Education in the academic year 2017/2018 in all the directorates of education in the South Shounah and Ain Albasha region.

They numbered 229 teachers, (110) of them at the end of the same academic year through educational supervisors, of whom (76) responded teachers and teachers.

Thus, counting this number is the study sample.

The results showed that English language teachers' assessment of their professional needs was significant.

It also showed a significant degree of need for (19) paragraph; there is a great need for teachers of English language.

While the results showed a medium degree of need in (8) paragraphs.

The results did not show any statistically significant differences in the estimations of the English language teachers for the professional needs they need due to the gender variables and the scientific qualification.

The study presented a set of recommendation
