The main goal of the present study is to identify (the Effectiveness of Swartz Model in the Mental Achievement and Flexibility of Intermediate Grade students in Social sciences.
The sample of the research consists of (64) students in which each class consists of (32) students.
The researchers followed the experimental approach the researcher prepared the research requirements from the post-achievement test that consisted of (45) multiple choice items.
Validity, reliability and difficulty level and items discrimination power had been ensured.
.
After determining the materials of social sciences studied by the students of the two groups of research during the experimental period, the researcher prepared teaching plans and submitted two samples of them to specialists to determine its validity and suitability.
The experiment had lasted along the second course when the researcher had taught the two groups personally (the experimental and the control).
Coming to the end of the experiment, the researcher applied the post-achievement test to the two groups via using the statistical analysis of the results by the (SPSS) program and conducting the (t-test) for two independent samples.
The experimental group that has taught according to Swartz model, according to the results, has proved to have an advantage to the control group which has taught according to the traditional method in the achievement test and the mental flexibility measure.
This refers to the positivity of Swartz's teaching method in teaching.
